Clip for 960 bonnet gas spring

Hello. I'm looking for a small clip which retains the foot of the gas strut on the bonnet.

Do you know what size the ball is? Most gas struts are similar sizes, I just pulled a gas strut off my V70 boot floor and you would be welcome to the clips if they fit

Thanks V8. It's certainly worth a try. The part number I have is 989037 and it seems to have many uses on different models.

The bonnet gas struts for these models use parallel pins and tab clips (but different sizes each end), not ball and socket.
