Sat nav ignores height restriction
Returning from a caravan holiday in France, my sat nav directed me to the A86 through Paris. This route involves tunnels with a height restriction of 2 meters. Spent best part of an hour travelling through Versailles trying to find a way which did not keep sending me to the same height restricted Road. If my satnav can avoid toll roads, why not tunnels and single track Kent roads?

You need a specialist caravan sat nav, you can put the height, weight etc. in.

As Billggski says, dedicated caravan sat nav, however on the Sensus navigation on my Xc70 I've selected "Avoid unclassified roads" So far this has stopped me being sent down narrow/single track roads when towing.

What sat nav have you got? Assuming you have built in sat nav, then it's going to work on the basis that your 'unit' consists of a single vehicle. Snooper do HGV and motorhome sat navs that allow the overall size to be entered so it avoids roads where it won't fit.
