Default still no luck with tailgate

Hi all,

I tried the copious amounts of WD40 but to no avail. I think I'll have to replace the struts. I've seen various ones on ebay for good prices - much less than the £250 per strut I've been quoted from dealers.

Has anyone had experience of replacing the boot struts as yet and can recommend any garage and/or make of strut?

Thanks in advance.
