V70R for sale

I have a black phase 1 (1999) V70R AWD estate (the AWD system is currently defective, not uncommon with the phase 1's) that is currently taking up space and reluctantly needs to go. It has a few issues, don't we all, but is definitely capable of being returned to it's former glory.

The main issue is the turbo intercooler has split and therefore needs replacing. I have been advised that due to the removal process this can lead to connections on the radiator breaking so I do not have the funds available for an immediate repair and it is a shame to see it languishing out the back & not being used.

Cosmetically it is in good nick for a car that's done around 138,000 miles but clearly at 17/18 years of age she's not pristine but before the intercooler issues drove really well.

The wheels and tyres are in good nick, it has a RICA 304 upgrade chip & a nice shiny wooden steering wheel along with newly fitted xenon look headlights. There is also a Parrot MKi9200 bluetooth mobile phone interface fitted which if these items were sold for breaking should easily get £400 plus.

In an ideal world I'd like around £500 but we don't live in an ideal world and I am open to offers before I plumb the depths of that well known auction site.

As it currently uninsured and SORN I am unable to offer test-drives unless you have trade insurance. (You can not use your own private insurance to drive other cars unless they have a current policy in place). There will be no tests without seeing proof of insurance, photo ID & a substantial cash deposit left.

Although the car does drive it does not accelerate very quickly at all so is only really moveable by trailer/tow. Any questions please ask.
