Default fuel filler opening not working V40

any ideas what could cause this as cannot refuel. we can open the flap ok but cannot insert the nozzle in to fuel filler opening. thanks. :-)

I read on another forum about a problem removing the pump nozzle from the capless filler on a V40 because the spring on the capless filler opening had broken so that could be the problem here. I think you will have to take the car to a Volvo dealer.

Can you get plastic nozzle in from in boot under floor in spare wheel bits??

Thanks for your replies. The man from Volvo came today, lubricated the filler opening parts with silicone spray, and now it works again fine. Simple as that.
