Squeaky centre console

My 63 plate D5 AWD has silver trim around the gearlever (it's an auto) and around the panel that controls pretty much everything (HVAC, radio, etc).

When the road surface gets uneven the whole console area squeaks as the parts flex.

Is there any solution to this that anyone has found?

That's a brilliant video and thanks for posting. I completely respect the guy who did the fix and was highly amused by the random kid walking around offering to help.

I can see the centre console will still be squeaking he day I sell the car
