850 2.5 20v
MOT till Nov I think, currently SORN.
Needs: Rear bush/bushes clonk but it's easy to live with imho. Pulley/tensioner/belt noise for a few mins on startup (story of my life!) To see if I wanted to buy lowering springs, the current springs have clamps on them ha!.Easily removed though. Also has a slow puncture! (another 'story of my life'!!) That annoying engine light came on randomly a week or so ago.No idea why.Happened on my other car when cornering quickly and removing the battery cleared it. That's it I think. Scrubs up lovely, lots of bills, pulls like a train! 144k or there abouts.I have been using it for work for a few months and really enjoyed it.I will miss it for sure. £250. I can tax it for another £100 if someone wanted it for £350.
I don't think there is a nicer, more solid feeling, better sounding (once the belt noise stops) car for sale for £250 in the entire world.I would trust this car to take me anywhere - even with the niggles. I might end up keeping this actually.. |

Great colour really clean looking car.
OMG I would have this (I don't need it though) but a 760 mile round trip will nearly double the cost. Even it is such a bargain! Sadly I have to pass. Good luck with the sale. SC |

She's a lovely thing and was owned by a true Volvo fanatic before myself. With the bush/bushes on the rear end and the belt done (or just live with them), you have yourself an incredibly clean, rust free 850 which has lots of history and is possibly one of the nicest cars of this type I have driven.
I think maybe the price is scaring people off.Perhaps it should be £750? The more I think about it, the more I am tempted to rent another garage and come back to this.I would cry if I had to scrap it! If there is no interest by the end of the week, I will withdraw it from sale and find somewhere to put her. |

Now sold.A neighbour across the road had a drive and (unsuprisingly to me at least) fell in love with it.I have told him I will buy it back when and if he sells
