850 2.5 CD Saloon Manual, Breaking
This was my project car which sadly came home from her MOT and on her only outing afteer that promptly broke the cambelt tensioner - so dominoes - running in and out of timing and engine goosed!
Was towed home and, due to prevailing circumstances she has stood for a little over a year whilst I decided if I had the heart to attempt a rebuild. So here we are, Lots of parts available. Some off the car, others spares related to the project. Mega Rare Factory Rear Window Blind Carbon Fibre Rear Panel (goes between the light clusters) New Including a New unopened and Volvo boxed front Passenger side wing. 850R front bumper/spoiler Splitter from our colleague here New unused T5 rear spoiler - needs a coat of paint etc. Headlamps and tail lights - complete with bulbs, no cracks Nice set of Titans in Anthracite wearing Bridgestones with only about 2k on them, hardly worn. Another nice set of Titans in Anthracite - tyres probably past their best Spare Titan boxed - got a bit of a scuff if I remember rightly, nothing serious. Nice set of Columbas in Silver with decent tyres - 2 of them Pirellis Nice set of 15 inch 850 CD six spoke alloys - name eludes me Professionally rebuilt ABS module. Three out of four door cards are sound and in grey with grey leather inserts. Drivers door card has a couple of cigarette burns (there when the car was bought) but they haven't gone through so reasonably presentable. Carpets have been protected with factory mats all their life so are really very nice. Excellent Nissens Radiator - hardly any miles on it at all. Switches, ECC control panel, Sc801 Stereo with code, Speakers List goes on. Also, if anybody wants the gearbox, which is in good order, and has the ability to get it out - where it is parked up I cannot (behind a guys house who would like his spot back). Then if you can get down before the week is out, get down here and just thrust a few notes in my hand and it's yours. The price gearboxes are new it would be criminal to see it scrapped. So, don't be shy, ask if you want something, make me a sensible offer. If it's not mentioned ask anyway, I might have it.

The new and boxed wing say £100 The driver's side has a small shallow dent that will very likely pop out. Most of the time you don't see it anyway. Say £25 Plus p&p or collect Let me know what you think

Ah sorry, a bit too dear for me, Sir.One sold on here with the shelf and speakers etc a few years ago for £40 so I was expecting nearer that I guess.I'm sure someone will have it though as they have no doubt gone up since then.I will ask my neighbour when I see him as he likes an addon or five! I also got asked to see how much for either set of Titans. |

You'll never get one for £40 now mate. If you could I'd stockpile them.
Honestly, the last one I bought was for the 964 about four years ago and that was £85 plus delivery. And that was someone I know very well doing me a favour. Haven't seen one since anywhere. Think you can name your price for that one now. Trouble is they were always a rare fitment, rarely bought as an accessory, and have been out of production for many a long year. I'm still looking for one for my 240 - never seen one - I'll probably have to pay £200 or so if one ever turns up. Sort of thing you swallow hard, and think well, I'm not selling the car, so it's a one-off. If you change your mind about the Window Blind, I'll reattach it to the shelf and send that as well for the same price plus delivery. Think about it. If you have the car for another ten years it wil cost you £12.50 per year - not worth quibbling about really. Anyhow, the Titans. The first set came from a nice lad in Hull (where I travelled to collect them as he wouldn't deliver), who'd not long had them on, but swapped to a set of 18 inch Pegs. No cracks, no buckling, balanced, run true and hold pressure all the time. Tyres are Bridgestone Potenza 205/45 R17 W (the proper high performance rating, not the cheaper V) He'd done about a thou on them, I've done about 500 or so. Now, I've researched previous prices. i.e. T5pete in 2009 - £300 with tyres having only around 1k left in them, etc) Another user here £400 in 2013. Previous prices elsewhere reflect these prices too. For me, I know I am certainly not making a profit. So £400 for these, plus delivery. If I can find the new set of still bagged and unused factory centre caps I have for them, I'll throw them in as well. Before you blanche at that, bear in mind a set of tyres would cost you £311.24 - that's the cheapest prices for Bridgestones at the moment. And the wheels are approx £350 each new. So a brand new set would cost you in the region of £1700! The other set. Again, no cracks, no buckling, balanced, run true and they haven't gone porous either. £300 plus delivery.
