Default Rear wiper length

I’m just replacing the rear wiper blade, 1993 Torslanda, been looking at the Bosch ones in Halfords today. On there electronic guide with the wipers the Bosch ones don’t get listed, just Halfords own and it’s sugesting a 13” blade, I asked which Bosch one was the equivalent as there was 4 that all had slightly different numbers that was 13” and was told it was an 18” blade in the Bosch range. Short on time I just bought it, the one on the car is actually a 16” blade, I haven’t yet got the 18” out of the packet because looking at the dirt wiped of the window with the existing one I think the extra 1” will go slightly over the rubber at the top that holds the screen in. So what do people use and what was original spec?

I've just measured mine. It's a 17 inch.
It reaches to the edge of the black shaded band at the top of the glass, which is about 3/4" wide.
So the extra 1/2" of an 18" blade would still sweep the glass without quite touching the rubber.

I have put the blade on, it’s going to be close! But I think ok! I have just spoken to my dad, he has an 18” on the rear of his, so should be ok!
