I'm told it's a straight swap in all respects

As a matter of interest, is it possible to straight swap an existing 230f for a 200f? Might be handy for future reference.

there may be a difference in the metering units on the k jet cars - b200/230 f , would be more straight foward .

I've always been confused about clutch compatability, as only Volvo seem to have the definitive answer. Attached shows the QH range for Volvos, and this conflicts with some of what's been said.

In case anyone does happen to know - I've got a 1990 245 with a B230KH and an M45 gearbox, but most places don't list the clutch.

If you change the engine and use your original flywheel and box the clutch just stays the same as the engine you had, my car has a 940 engine a 740 gl box and a 240 b21 flywheel so my clutch is a 240 late b21 so the splines match the box, earlier b21 240's had a different spline count.
