Hi There
I am selling my 440 after a happy upgrade to an 850 She is a Metallic Red L plate 115k ion the clock with a good 2 litre engine, and a pretty intact interior (aside from a small crack that has developed on the top of the dash above the glove compartment) it has a nice roadster CD player with 6 cd changer in boot. Also has volvo alloys. She does need some work though, I'll go through the work that needs done to make it back to what I would consider a tidy standard. The front brakes are going to need changing, the front right is just about if not already on the metal with a possibility of disks. Someone has bumped the driver side rear passenger door causing a scratch and slight outward dent and it has gone rusty and needs good rub down and repair. The back wheel arches will also require some work as they are bubbling with intermediate rust. The exhaust was recently changed and produces a bump sometimes at tickover off the chassis although front and tailpipes are in good nick. The front bumper was hit by another car and needs a little reinforcement although it holds itself it feels a little loose - a few drill holes and cable ties will probably suffice. The front low spot was damaged in the incident too. Nothing else of note, I thought it best to be honest about the problems rather than waste anyone's time - it's important to note all the points above got through an MOT without a problem (which is due again in June) Taxed to end of April. The car doesnt owe me much and I'd be glad to let someone have it for a fair price (£300 im thnking, just fitted frontpipe @ 150 and replaced a tyre @ £50 !) if I thought they would repair and keep it on the road. Let me know if your interested chaps : I am located in Fife, Scotland TY for yer time ! Picture attached from when it was younger and in better nick : I can probably get some more recent ones if anyone is interested. |
