Default Ford Parts

Sorry if this query is repeated anywhere on here , I looked and couldn't find, give the propensity of Ford parts on the Volvo, is there a conversion/comparison list anywhere, or should we set one up?

You could try having a look here - but I have no idea how much (if any) relevant info there may be.

On the Mk1 XC90 there's very little Ford, evidenced by how well the thing is built and how reliable it generally is.

On most FoMoCo based Volvo platforms, any parts taken from the Ford parts bin (pun intended) usually have both Volvo and Ford part numbers on them. Where there is only one part number it's usually the Ford one.

The sensor for the headlight levelling is a Ford part. Or at least the replacement that I got was a FoMoCo stamped part. Non of the other parts I have bought have Ford on them though.
