One door will unlock but won't lock

There's one door, a rear passenger door, that will unlock but won't lock using the remote. The door will lock if I push the lock manually and then it will unlock using the remote. Any ideas out there on the root of this problem. I searched the archives but didn't see anything like this problem.

Hi Mark,

I had a similar problem on my old 965. I documented how I cured it on my old website - I still have a copy at www.sheffieldsam.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk (Look under useful tips).

Mine was caused by a bent rod, yours could be similer, or it could simply be an adjustment problem.
