164 NEEDED for Rockingham Photoshoot

In celebration of Volvo's 90th Year Anniversary, we've hired Rockingham Speedway on Tuesday 25th April where we intend to get as many Volvo models as possible on track for a video and photoshoot.

WE ARE IN NEED OF A 164

It's going to be an amazing day, with coverage from Classic & Sports Car and Practical Classics journalist Ross Alkurishi.

Cars will be photographed in groups and individually as they travel around the famous Oval track....an opportunity not to be missed.

So if you have a 164, we'd love to hear from you.

Well I do have a 1972 164E, so you're hearing from me. You might not love it though, since I'm in California, so I don't think I'll be able to make the show! Not that I don't wish I could! I do hope someone's able to show up with one so they can be duly represented. Good luck with the show.

Knowing there are a few 164s within reasonable range I'm surprised nobody has offered. I have used my 164E on photo-shoots in the past but they didn't even pay my fuel bill so I vowed "never again". My car is on the south coast so would cost a lot to get it there, also have to be here for the regular VOC section meet the day after so reluctantly I'm not offering.
How about you, Ken, from Ipswich, in Jonathan Woolf's old 164?
