Arrow V40 T3 RDesign Clutch/Dual Mass Flywheel 2016

Here I have the clutch/dual mass flywheel from my partners V40.

It was removed due to being told by the dealer that it was wearing low.
As it turned out it wasn't the clutch wearing out, but something to do with a linkage of some sort needing lubrication as the clutch did not fully operate.
Apparently it has only worn slightly and the flywheel is still true.

Now she has this as a spare, so wants to recoup some cost for the new one.
She had a new one fitted as a future proofing precaution.

The garage told her that it still has over 100,000 to 150,000 miles use on it, but she still had it changed! 🙄

We think it is worth £350 to someone, which is just under half the cost of a new one fron Volvo... But we are open to offers as we have never sold car parts before.

We live near Bourne in Lincolnshire, but willing to meet up within a 25/30 mile radius for collection

Now considering scrapping it, or possibly keep as a very long term spare!

I think the issue with the sale of the parts is that there is so much work involved in the actual changeover of the clutch/flywheel, however honourable the seller may be, why risk an unknown and without warranty used part and the potential chance of having to do it all again?

I guess the parts could be OK for someone who was repairing a car cheaply to sell on. Perhaps rather than scrap them, a shame I know, perhaps offer them free to a forum member (not me, I don't need them !) or for a best offer/trade of some sort ?

Genuinely no offence intended. Good luck !
