Dump valve
I am close to fitting a dump valve on my 850 T5, before i do so i have found a good company who race volvo`s and do the parts, has anyone experienced any problems after fitting one as i do not wish to start getting problems after fitting.

RE: Dump valve
Don at Kalmar Union sells a complete dump valve kit. Remember you will need to dissable the recirculating dump valve that is part of the turbo.

RE: Dump valve
You'd be better off posting in the Performance Section as Don from Kalmar Union hangs around in there. Does he ever post in here?
Don does the complete kit including blanking plates etc and seems to give pretty sensible advice....they also race Volvos.... There was a similar thread recently:- http://www.volvoclub.org.uk/dc/dcboa...de=full&page=2 whoops...just seen you posted last on there.....go with Don. He supports the Club with good advice. He will tell you the ins and outs. Guess it's all about not setting the pressure too high? |
