Unhappy Disc change - How?

I have today received the two disc package for my 11my XC90. So far so good. Except the instructions to change the discs are worse than useless.

For a start, it says the unit is below the driver's seat. Yes it is but they do not sell LHD cars in UK. It is under the front passenger seat for those who are still searching.

And as for how to eject the disc, who knows. My dealer said press the eject button. Well I would if there was one.

There are also two discs in the pack labelled disc one and two. Do I load just one or what?

Having got that little lot of my chest, the car is great.

Any advice would be welcome re changing the disc(s).

Apologies if this has been raised before.

i can't comment on the other poiints you've mentioned, but if the MY2011 is like my MY2006 Sat Nat drive, you need to push the front lip down, and the disc auto ejects. Input the disc in, the slide the door up.

Thank you for your reply. Coincidentally I have just had a call from Keith Graham, Service Manager at Lloyd Volvo saying exactly the same.

Basically, slide down the panel at the front of the disc holder, insert disc 1, follow the instructions on screen. When it is finished, slide down the door and disc 1 ejects itself. Repeat for disc 2.

I am at this stage just now as the whole process takes over 3 hours. Apparently when disc 2 is finished, you re-insert disc 1 and close the door.

Appreciate the response.

Just a quick update. Job done and thanks again to StuT4 and Keith Graham. Whole process took just over 3 hours and battery did not take such a hit that it would not start the car.

Basically, load disc 1 then 2. When that is finished, the instruction to reinsert disc 1 comes up on screen. Job done.
