I thought I would chime in here on experience, I have previously fitted K&N E3180 filters into the blue round filter housings, the paper element and especially the glue can be difficult to remove from the metal plates, a copper wire wheel drill attachment helps. The original filter bolts can be used at a pinch but slightly longer bolts are advised. The filters perform well and more importantly they are reusable unlike the paper element filters.

Ask and you shall receive, these were fitted to a 1965 1800S about 3 years ago, so these are the thinner filters but quite effective

I won't start a new thread but the US B18 from 1967-68 1800S cars had this setup and it is an easy way to upgrade from a single circuit to a twin circuit. Just remember to fit the larger rear cylinders to compensate. The system works out nicely and is a nice little insurance against total brake failure.

Yes, it was a one year compromise for the USA, also used on Amazons. LHD only. Interesting to see it used on an earlier car, especially as it is RHD.
