I can just about get 27mpg out of mine on a motorway, which will usually include a quick blast up the slip road and 1 or 2 quick blasts to overtake middle lane hoggers. On a long trip we managed to somehow get 32mpg! Round town is anything from 19 up to 22. Depending on how many idiots in their hatches think they are fast and require educating.

If you have it try putting on the instant mpg reader. It's a lot of fun. Goes down to about 7 when accelerating and I've had it up to 90 going down hill!

The best way to increase your mpg around town is to fill a bucket half full of water and then stand it in the middle of your boot, try it. Dont ask me how i arrived at that idea!

around town, I'm getting about 18 for some reason. no Mods or anything and not really puting my foot down. I guess it might be due to the auto box.

When I got the car, I got 31 on the 160 miles home and it was all slow driving.
