480 S 2.0 Air Flow Sensor
Does anyone have for sale or know a good reasonably priced company to go to for this. Have been scouring search engines and seem to mostly get this site or something pretty irrelevant, have tried one of the part listing sites with no return on the sensor. There are none for this engine even on ebay, i have cash waiting.

Hi Im not quite sure what part you are looking for but to the best of my knowlege the 2L 480 engine is the same as the 440/460. On these engines they have two sensors, a small temp sensor located in the pipe from the air box and an air presure sensor that connects to the inlet manifold via a small rubber tube. I do have a spare one of each taken from my wifes old 440. I do know that the 1.7 turbo engine had an large air flow sensor located in the pipe from the airbox as I sold one from my old 480 last year.

Thanks for responding, its not the large air flow sensor that is on the 1.7 engine, its not very big and is in the pipe from the air filter.
If you have this part how much would you want for it? Have gone through parts gateway, gsf etc. cannot source this part anywhere. Apparently although expected not made brand new either according to gsf. |

Just to save you time if you havent looked already, the problem has been rectified by other means, wasnt the air flow sensor at fault. Thanks for taking the time to respond though.
