Screen Oddity
Has anyone had their screen do this? Top half of screen only, all the touch functions still work if you know where to touch the screen. Been into our dealer, they did a software update, didn't work, it will be going in again to be stripped down and a part fitted hopefully to sort it.

Got to admire the dealer thinking a software patch is going to fix that......

Agree with bluey_xc90. Looks like impact damage or just failure of the LCD or hardware component controlling the LCD screen. If software update (reset) didn't work then physical damage is most likely cause. Looks like a mobile if you drop it.

Well I know nothing hit the screen, I had programmed a destination in the Nav, left the car unlocked for about 20 mins, went back to start my journey, found I needed my road atlas out of the boot!..

Presumably someone unbeknown to yourself could have entered your car and attacked the screen ? |

Scary it failed just like that.....
Out of curiosity - did they say how much it would have cost if not covered by warranty? |
