I spoke to Warranty Direct by email today and they say they are still taking care of existing customers, just not taking new custom.
That doesn`t sit right with me so asked to cancel the policy. It`s less than 3 months old so not taking any chances.

Yes I have also just spoke to them as have just taken a policy out with them and yes not taking any new policy's but say the existing one will run as normal but will not be able to renew it in a couple of years.
They are owed by BNP Paribas Cardif Limited who have been in business since 1971 so hopefully everything will be ok.

I've been recommended to MotorEasy - anyone had experience with this company?

Don’t know anything about them but is run by the man that started Warranty Direct.

Looking for some advice - I’m getting passed around in circles by Volvo, Stoneacre (previously Mill Newcastle) and Car Care trying to get a 2 yr extended warranty for my XC60 (almost 3 yrs old, 21500 miles). Car Care and Volvo say only the dealership can offer this while Stoneacre keep passing me back to the other two. Does anyone know of an alternative Volvo dealership where I can purchase (over the phone) the 2 year extended Volvo warranty?

Thanks in advance

Try Snows Volvo in Winchester, I didn't by my XC90 from them but will be extending mine for 2 years next month when the standard 3 years is up, I've been talking to CJ and I think Dan.

Warranty Direct £788 for 2 years (all options checked) with a £50 excess and uncapped labour.

Motor easy £945 for 2 years Plan A with £50 excess - with 10% discount to be applied if bought today making it £850!

Anyone got any thoughts, experiences or recommendations re using these companies versus via Volvo main dealer? (actual warranty is apparently 3rd party anyway)
Yes, just been investigating my cover which expires in March 2021. The cost quoted for 2 years is £907 and 100,000 miles. Its only done 25000. its a lot of money and i do plan on keeping the car as its a specd up D5 XC60, which i will never be able to afford again.

From someone in the trade, they are hands down the worst warranty company every. Took 8 days to authorise and paid 50% of claim. proceed with caution
