Default Wanted - White 480

Hi Guys,

I'm on the lookout for a 480 in White.

I'd prefer a 2 litre, but would take 1.7 at a squeeze. Would only take a turbo if very (and proven) reliable and no signs of turbo wear.

I'm not fussed what the mileage is, so long as the car is complete and runs well.

In terms of bodywork, I'm looking for something that is a little uncared for, but generally in good condition, with very little (or even better none) rust, no dents, no missing bits. I don't mind (in fact I'm actually looking for) oxidation and dull paintwork. Alloys can be scuffed, but must be original (and be alloys ).

Internally, again, I don't mind dirty, so long as it's complete and not damaged. Leather would be preferred, but cloth or cloth/leather is ok.

1st choice of colour is white, but could be tempted by black if the condition is right. No other colours, sorry!

I live in Cambridgeshire, but will travel to collect so long as it's driveable - I have no trailer facilities.

Thanks guys.

Thanks NI_Nut

I know I said I'd travel, but that ones a bit too far to go.

She looks good though!

Don't know if your still looking Pringle but I might consider parting with my '94 480 2.0S. If just about what your looking for, use it to travel to work everyday 18 miles each way, done nearly 94k, even went to the trouble of buying another white 480 front end so spares that would come with include another bonnet, front wings, grille and fog lamps, non clear indicator lens, even some 1.7 engine parts.

Bought it afew months ago while several faults including, one popup headlight with bracket broken so a piece of wood was holding it up, stuttered under acceleration, one electric wing mirror broken off due to other drivers poor ability behind the wheel. All this has been mended and i've even had the ICV off recently to get the revs running better.

Has the half leather, half cloth interior, all very neat and tidy. Outside needs tidying up, one front wing really should be replaced (already have the wing) and some bubbles are starting to appear but nothing that would fail its MOT.

MOT'ed till December, Tax is running out end of this month. Have moved home recently out in the sticks and have been told the winters can be bad out there so looking at buying something abit more robust. Love the 480 truly but impractical in coming months. Not far from you either, I live near Lincoln.
