How do you know it was low fuel pressure? Did you read DTCs?

Which engine and how many miles has it done?

If euro 3 I’d start suspecting the in tank pump. Does diesel pour out if you take filter off (or remove the drain bolt if it’s the metal one) and turn ignition on?

Diag check came back with low fuel pressure. changed fuel sensor + pump in tank + fuel filter. Still no joy. Volvo is an XC90 2.4 diesel 55 plate with 77,000 on the clock.

You've changed the fuel sensor... Do you mean the fuel pressure sensor on the end of the rail?

What about the regulator, near the high pressure pump?

Have you done an injector leak off test? You might have bad injector(s).

Are you using VIDA, or just a generic scan tool? Posting the fault codes may help.
