A very very crude but usually effective way to quickly test glow plugs is to simply connect a wire from it to battery, and see if you get a spark. If it sparks, it usually means its working. If not, its dead. |

Yes since the norwegian forum mainly foucuses on diffrent cars 740,850,940,v50,v70 and so on ought of that but i rather get a testlamp å voltmeter anyone got experience with hkt pluggs 17 pounds?bosch 26 pounds is a little more expensive beru is the most expensive at 50 pounds each

Ok if it is the D4192T engine, it is not direct injection so the glowplugs are more important. If any are bad it can be a little difficult to start. Although you should have some grey/white smoke when you start the car if you have bad glowplug(s). Bosch Duraterm are supposed to be very good glowplugs and are meant to last a very long time.
I also put about 50ml of acetone in my fuel tank to clean the injectors about once a month. My car was running really bad when I got it, really horrible to drive, now it is 95% perfect

I would get the Bosch plugs.
A prechamber diesel engine is virtually impossible to start without working glowplugs, so its not worth saving a few NOK on them
