Smile engine running bad

Hi All, I have a 2005 v50 2.0d which will not rev above 1100. I have replaced the air flow sensor and its the same. The initial problem was that it was running lumpy with masses of smoke clouds, although it had full revs. After replacing the air sensor I thought it might be the electric plugs to the injectors which were soaked in oil so I disconnected them and washed them off with petrol. when they dried I plugged them back in. since then it starts with difficulty, still runs lumpy, & will not rev above 1100. any ideas please.

I had poor acceleration. Kept holding back. Took the throttle boby off and gave it a good clean. One of the butterfly valves was stuck closed inside. Bit of wd40 freed it up and now it runs like a dream.

This sounds like a split in a boost hose or intercooler/hose.
