THis will be short as i'm struggling to keep my eyes opn but.........

You're welcome, hope it's useful!

Does indeed sound as if he was "nut gathering". The discs and pads, providing they met the brake efficiency test standards do not sound remotely like a failure.

Ditto on the ARB bushes, the D bushes on them have a split along the flat side for fitment, even another split shouldn't be a failure as long as the bush held together.

As for the hubs, if you couldn't hear them and there was no play, i'd say you'd been had.

Your business sounds as if it was leasure industry related, so many possibilities to choose i couldn't even take a wild guess! The leasure industry has been absolutely decimated so i can only have a general idea of what it was etc.

Diversification may work but you'll need something that people need now and will still need after the CV-19 crisis or at least be able to "change horses" easily after. Finding that is going to be the hard part though.

Sweet my MOT is due April 16. So I am assuming it's been deferred now 6 months? To 16th October?

I dont have much confidence in MOT stations
Looking at the image, how does it quickly develop both control arm issues in 5 days (264 miles)?

I would think so but check the MoT History page to confirm you've been given the extension automatically.

Mine is due mid-may and not been updated yet, i'm guessing as we each get close to our respective MoT dates after 30/3/30, the "Expiry Date" will automatically be extended on a rolling basis and updated on the MoT History page accordingly.

There are two different MoT stations involved so that means at least two different testers. Maybe the second one tested the suspension arms more vigouroously or perhaps a few potholes were hit on the journey and weakened the bushes.

FWIW. An article in The Daily Telegraph says that expiry dates will be updated online for vehicles individually, about a week before each vehicle's expiry date.

(My own words.)
