Unless you have immediately before and after images or in car video then I would say you're on a sticky wicket unfortunately.
They are always going to deny it, think about the number of wheels that go through kwik-fit workshops every day and if everyone claimed. Annoying I know but without solid evidence how are you going to prove it was them and not something you did driving in to the car park ? I'm not suggesting you are trying to pull a fast one but that will be their defence if you go down the legal route. Only thing you can do when going to these places is take photos in their car park when you drop the vehicle off and make sure someone sees you doing so. Pretty rubbish way of going about things, I know.

If you can't claim, then I'm pretty sure a local SMART repairer would be able to fix your wheel. They are routinely used by car dealers to tidy up their stock prior to resale. They will come to you at home or work and I'd guess they'll charge about £50 (or perhaps less for cash!).
Good luck Russ |

I would do the above if you are 100% you are sure and correct they were undamaged when you took the car in - simply as a matter of principle. It is not negligence, more so damage. Generally when you issue proceedings people pay - especialy when they know they are in the wrong. Large companies generally do not let things get to the default stage (as suggested above), they simply pay before court to settle. Regards |
