I loved the clutch in my 940 TD; I hate the clutch in my 940 petrol. Chalk and cheese. Give me a heavy clutch anyday!

A girl after my own heart!!

Can't stand modern numb feeling clutches, especially when giving it a good beasting!!

Just a shame about the dead left foot in traffic and the fact that I look wrong in shorts 'coz one leg is massively bigger than the other!!

Lol

I never ever thought I would miss the zf22 but giving it a good beasting away from lights seems like hard work in the petrol 940 to be honest. Women, always complaining, lol!!

Ha ha ha... Typical!!!

Ahh, so your d24 is an auto?

Seriously Laney, look into an m90 conversion, got one in mine and I would have thought it shaves a good few seconds off the 0-60!!

Much nicer box than the old M46/M47

I have got an M90, my first time with one and I'm really dissapointed. The 1992 940 TD I had with M46/47?, the gearwork was a real pleasure for spirited driving but my new 1997 M90 with the nasty lightweight clutch I'm hating to be honest. Its lovely for chauffering the boss around, but for spirited driving I'm so dissapionted after all the raving about the M90 I'd read on the forum. I hate the ratios of this gearbox/engine. At the end of the day I've realised this is why I may not stay with this car, why I'm not loving it as I should

It does look right in the description of M90, but the years are wrong..... might be worth asking what the part number is

I had a shortshifter in my last 940 with an M90. Was nice and tight gears then. They are so rare though O_O!

Check your axle ratio you might have the wrong axle fitted
