Default Struggling to find genuine OEM pcv kit!

Hi,

I’ve even phoned fcpeuro in the US and they cannot ship to UK.

I am really struggling to find genuine pcv kit for my volvo 850. I’ve read a few forum post and advice seems to be that genuine is better.

Am I missing something or do I just have to resign and accept that it has to be non genuine?

I purchased the complete kit from FRF Volvo in Swansea.

As far as im aware the PCV is still a live stock item with Volvo. So any service department of any main dealer should be able to source one.

RUFE in swansea are brilliant. But there are others. There are also a couple of main dealers trading on a well knon auction website selling OEM parts at knock down prices.

Thanks both. I have actually left a message with frf Swansea. I keep hearing good things.

I spoke to volvo winchester who told me it showed as discontinued on his system. That got me worried!

You'll need to phone FRF they found that they couldn't keep on top of messages in good time.

They were great! So pleasant and knowledgable over the phone. I spoke to a chap called Mike. 1 day delivery.

I highly recommend them.

I've found them great on the phone, and also in person. My work takes me that way occasionally and I've dropped in to pick up an order, my master stroke was when the wife wanted a midweek break in Swansea (quite a nice city and it's even got seaside down by the Mumbles) and I picked up some parts while we were there, we were in their customer carpark before she said 'Why have we come here?'

Thumbs up Frf

Another thumbs up for FRF Swansea.

Had dealt with them previously for a part for my Ph1 V70 so when our local dealer was having problems getting a part for my son's Ph3 V70 I spoke to Mike at to see if he could help. He checked availability and alternative sources and called back to say that while he could obtain the part it would be no quicker, so suggested we stick with the local dealer and the order we had with them.

Now that is real service. Could not recommend them highly enough.
