Default Bilstein B4 dampers and standard springs

I'm thinking of replacing my dampers, I don't want to lower the car or have a 'performance' damper I just want a good quality damper to hopefully improve the ride and to be more compliant over bumps/rough roads etc.

The B4's are marketed as an OE replacement gas damper so I was hoping they'd match well with the standard (albeit 'dynamic' suspension on the T5).

Any comments welcome.

Anyone any advice or instructions for replacing rear shocks on an 06 C70? Parts ordered, hoping to do at weekend. Also front pads for same model...are they easily fitted?
