Default Removing CEM

I'm hoping someone can advice me please. I have started gaining access to the heater blower following the YouTube Video. When he removes the plugs attached to the CEM he just flip's them down. I have tried this and the dam things just will not budge. Afraid to put to much pressure on them. Any help please.

Here's a description on how to do it from a guide on Matthew's Volvo Site...pics have since been removed (thank you Photobucket).

Step 21: Locate CEM and remove five connectors -- the three mass connectors are removed by pressing down on the center of the latch and rotating the lever away from the connector, which will unlock it, the other two connectors may be removed by pushing the latch and pulling connector body out

Thanks, I thought there must be a knack to it. Will have another look tomorrow. I guess on right hand drive cars its gunna be a little different. May have to gain access under drivers side as well.
