I'm pretty sure every diesel C30 has a DPF. The 1.6D and 2.0D require Eolys fluid every 75k miles. The D2, D3, D4 and D5 are dry filters and require no fluid. Volvo advise the 1.6D and 2.0D have new filters at 75k but this is not always necessary.

2.0D dpf if not in a very ideal place for regeneration, it is located quite far down from the turbo, whereas 1.6D it is with cat right after turbo. On the other hand, on 2.0d it is very easy to remove (although software can be pain).

The good thing about dpf is they can work nicely and have a very long lifespan if done right. Bad thing is that all, especially older ones are not designed well.
