Default Engine swap

Hi all
I have a 850GLT 2.5 20valve and live in Malta, does anyone know if fitting the T5 engine is a fairly easy job or if the 2.5 will take the turbo of the T5.
I would prefer a real T5 but cant find one here.
Thanks all

I think there is a fair amount of work that needs to be done in order to fit the new engine (like ecu and other things, and don't forget that if you do the engine you also need to do the brakes and suspension.......

As for fitting the turbo, I would say (don't know for sure though) that it's a bad idea, even if it fits, as the engine wasn't designed for the turbo and so you will overstress the internals of the engine.

Hi Stu
I have been have been doing a lot of thinking about this, the only thing that bothers me is does the turbo engine just drop in as I had a bad experince with a BMW once when 2.8 from a 2.0 and not even the exuaust manifold was the same, the brakes, suspension and ecu should be no problem over here.
The reason I was thinking about the turbo was because the new v70r has a 2.5 turbo engine and was thinking maybe they are the same.
All the best
