Sorry to reply to a 7 year old post, but there's one step missing.
It should read you will drop your clip, possibly multiple times, don't ask how I know. Before you start wedge a rag under the cable to catch it. A great guide, thanks. Jonnym |

XC90 Park Brake Adjustment
Hi Guys
I did this adjustment this weekend, you can forget about the clip and just grab the telescopic end with a vice-grip and use another wrench (I used a waterpump pliers) to spread the two apart. Keep the brake 2 clicks down before doing this. Literally less than 5 min job. |
