Default Worth a punt?

Hi all,

I'm off to look at this later: https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...9252079960284/

Anything I should look out for? The clutch and cambelt were replaced last year and it has a good amount of service history - 1 owner. As I understand it, the 2.0T comes highly recommended?

Previous car was a 2007 Ford S-Max that I had NO END of issues with, so looking forward to getting something that should be more reliable.

Cheers

It's likely to be a GEM ! but Facebook marketplace is often where people get rid of things with no comebacks. However if the body and paint look good and rust free ( look under the floor and arches) at that price it's worth a look at least, get a run in it if you can. Be prepared to spend a bit sorting it out and it will go another 10 + trouble-free years.

As Clan says ^^^^^^

It is a fairly high spec and does look well cared for. Check for rust underneath at the bottom of the front wings and also underneath at the rear of the sills - where the front of the rear wheelarch joins the sill. Any corrosion here is an mot failure.
