Confirmed the towing mpg today after a monster return to base from Weymouth back home to beccles, 23mpg according to the info centre, 4th gear and 55mph as a maximum speed, the old 5 berther likes to get a sway on otherwise, I need a sway bar really, but then it is a 28 year old caravan so nowhere near as aerodynamic as newer ones, plus it's laden weight is 1250kg, nearly as much as the car, and it was pretty much fully loaded, its not a small van by any means, one of the biggest single axle vans I've seen, plus a boot full of stuff and 4 people in the car too, not too shabby at all I don't think.

29mpg 1 year average
30 motorway
2.0i b4204s engine
I think there might be something wrong with my car even though the low milage (80k km). Any thoughts on why it might use so much fuel? The exhaust is black so i guess it's running rich for some reason.
