  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

Just be prepared the issue can arise again because its the lock itself that is faulty it would seem. Mine lasted about a year and then started again even though the steering lock was disconncted. I think we just gave the mechanism a good clean and made sure the lock was well and truly secured on the column as it would seem any movement can still trigger the darn steering lock issue. usually a good kick or tap fixed it, but still make sure you have recovery just in case.

It doesn't matter that the lock is failing, the bypass starter switch allows the car to start and there's no fear of the lock catching the column as its tucked away under the dash. Some days the car will start on the original starter switch some days not.
