C70 crack when reverse.
Hi ive got another problem with my c70. It does crack when reverse. Its not when i switch the gear just while driving reverse 1 bang and its ok. I have 2 new driveshafts and doesnt help. Sound seems to be like something isnt tight enough and make that bang. But have no clue whats that?

Undo the drive shaft bolt from the center of the wheel hub (no need to remove the wheel) put some strong Locktite inside on splines then torque the bolt up correctly (can't remember spec off the top of my head). Don't drive or move the car for 12 hours while it sets. Jobs a good'n!

I was under the impression that new bolts had to be used once they had been removed? |

If OP has not long had new driveshafts installed they should be fine to reuse.
