RE: TDI MAF Change & Chip Tuning
Hi
Just an update and query re: this power box thingy. I took car for test run yesterday and experimented with acceleration; safely :) In high gear, there's so much more torque than usual that change down for overtaking isn't necessary. However, if I put my foot down enough, I can sense and hear a sort of woofing, or judder (Not mechanical: I think), it only lasts a second or so, or dissapears when you release the throttle a touch. There seems to be no loss in acceleration, but that's hard to notice anyway. I only notice this at low revs in a relational high gear to the speed. I.e. in fifth from 90 KPH. Incidently, I counted 6 seconds from 90 - 160. Not bad what what? Is this mormal, or should I be worried. MAF sensor perhaps! Oliver in Brussels |
