Damn battery is flat
Had to go on a caving expedition just to get into the boot, since the key doesn't open the infernal thing.
Battery now on the charge

You might have had a lucky escape

. How does it sound compared to how it was before? It seems quite clattery, but the engine cover normally soaks up quite a lot of the noise, so that may make a diffence when re-fitted.
