Default Wipers not returning to park

Hi All,

I have had for some time a problem where the wipers would not return to the park position if switched off whilst working (including int wipe), tonight I was able to try another stalk assy which proved the fault lay here, so this may help others the one i got was a S/H one for £15.

As far as I'm aware there is a microswitch within the wiper motor housing and a seperate 12V supply to allow it to park the wipers. Obviously check all connections/conectors to the wiper motor or look for a cheap second hand replacement.
