cd changer

Hi all
Any audio experts out there?
My cd now just changes each disc in turn but wont play anything.Any ideas?Are they worth getting repaired . How much a new one?

Just in case anyone has a similiar problem I removed cover cleaned inside,lubricated nylon cogs with silicone and it now works!Still not sure if it was anything I did but hey
