Default Monroe self-levelling suspension

Anyone got experience of fitting improved rear dampers like the Monroe Ride-Levellers that you can pump up yourself? - see
http://www.larkspeed.com/pages/produ...nroe_ride.html

I've always been disappointed with my '99 V70 (that does not have the Volvo self-levelling suspension fitted), especially when towing.
New springs were fitted under warranty and made some difference, but it seems to adopt a tail-down position with even modest load in the back.
