[C30] Headlight washers not working
2008 model. I put the headlight switch to headlight, turn car on, pull windscreen washer switch but it only sprays on windshield. Fuse seems fine.
Next I'd like to check the relay - does anyone know the location? I can't find it in passenger fusebox diagram or engine fuse box diagram. It has been suggested to switch windscreen washer relay with headlamp washer relay for test. |

Relay and fuse is working, headlight washer still not.
I tried to locate the pump /tank, but it's it possible that it is located somewhere behind passenger front wheel? My refill hole for washer fluid is located at the back right (passenger side), just below windscreen. Last edited by AAmbro; Jan 7th, 2020 at 23:39. |

The headlight washers don't work every time you wash the screen. They only wash the headlights every 5 or 6 activations.

So I have found location of the tank. It is behind front right fender. I just need to find out how to "easily" access it to get to the high pressure pump. I don't want to take off the fender. Perhaps it will be possible to just remove inner plastic fender. |

Horses for courses I guess, but I am not sure I can be bothered to go to all that hassle to get my one side going again to be honest. I keep my car spotlessly clean anyway, life is too short sometimes!
I will check to make sure I dont have a leak though, never know where it could be leaking to. |
