Picked up a set of Galaxies which I'll be putting on when my front suspension rebuild is complete.

Couldn't resist a little mock up though

Seeing as there is no football onand the weather is pretty spring like I thought I would get started on painting the last bits for my suspension rebuild Also I now have all the other parts from Volvo and Skandix so once these bits are painted and new bushes are in I'm ready to get going

This is the first coat of epoxy primer so I'll need a couple more before I paint with extreme chassis black

Also a nice distraction today with all whats been going on recently

If anybody's interested I have 2 brand new 21mm arb bushes as mine are 22mm and I ordered both. They are genuine Volvo bushes

Brilliant standard of work as usual Mark, I'm looking forward to seeing Trigger in the metal one day.

We really need to have a Volvo meet somewhere one day outside of the BKV.

I think my idea of a Carnforth 700/900 meet might be worth exploring in more detail. I think the fact that it's only 150 miles from Glasgow and the Midlands would make it an ideal location ?

It did only take a bit over 2 hours so could be quite good. I shall start a thread!

Can you What'sApp me a price on those 21mm bushes please Mark?

Been trying to remember which thread we were discussing doubling up the ARBs but can't, my front one is 21mm and the bushes are beginning to look a bit furry instead of rubbery.

Couldn't see enough space to double up on the ARBs because of the shape of the bar where it joins the drop-links and the sump being in the way in the other places where clamps would have to go.

I'll have to try and hunt down one of those mythical 26mm front ARBs i think..........

Are you sure they made a 26mm Dave?

IPD make a kit for solid 25mm ones and I think some 960s had 24mm on the front.

No, not sure at all Luke, hence the "mythical 26mm" phrase! I've heard there's one but never actually seen one for sale or anything else. Did spot some Volvo 26mm front ARB bushes listed on fleabay but what car they're for, i don't know.

I've wondered a few times if perhaps the D24 models got the 26mm (or perhaps they're 25mm and someone measured wrong) to cope with the extra weight of the boat anchor - errr............. diesel engine.
