You've probably got an air lock.

Don't go crazy trying to start it yet.... you may burn something out.

First off, tell us what engine it is.

Ah I see from your other posts its a D5.

All one can say is its usual to keep the key in position 3 to allow the fuel to purge itself before turning it on.... quite a few times, on and off, pulling the fuel forward.

The 185 has a very high pressure fuel pump.

As you've already turned it on, id say keep purge it for a long time, before trying again.

Maybe, try an easy start, once or twice ONLY.

Make sure your battery is at full charge.

Hopefully someone with more extensive knowledge of an air lock will be along to help.

I think it would. The power draw will reduce that even further.

Get a battery charger on it, or even a piggy back from another cars battery. But DONT fire it until you've purged it at least half a dozen times to pull that fuel thru. Leave it in the key position just before you turn it to try and start it, so all the electronics are on, and the pump is priming. 20 seconds or more each time.
