Question USB Flash Drive Not Recognised

Probably missing something obvious - just bought a pre-formatted Sandisk USB 3.0 flash drive, only 16GB. I've ripped a few albums in MP3 format onto it, and it's recognised and works fine on a Windows 10 PC - however, plugging it into the XC90 nothing happens. Nothing appears in the source list of the media screen (Aux just shows the 3.5 mm plug icon with nothing under library), although I can see the drive is getting power as the LED is lit.

Does it need to be reformatted, or am I being slow? Haven't had problems in anything else.

On the media app screen, is the USB icon greyed out or available? Try selecting it and media should appear if it's being recognised.

Thanks - now working, don't think it was seated in the socket properly, it's quite stiff. Some pretty random menu categorisation compared with the computer though!

One more thing - I assume power is cut to the USB port when the ignition is off and car locked? Don't want to encourage the low battery warnings that keep displaying.
