Default New Member - Hi - P1800ES

Expecting delivery tomorrow of a total restoration project P1800ES in Gold.
Car appears to be complete and original apart from several resprays - so whats lurking beneath is yet to be revealed, though magnet test didn't reveal too many surprises so far.

I've restored and still own a 1969 Lotus Europa S2 and a 1982 Land Rover Series 3. Ready for a new project and always liked the P1800ES - not everyone's taste, but neither is a Europa - Why follow the crowd!

First of many questions:
    • Good sources of parts supply? UK or abroad.
    • Best way to get a 'works manual/parts list'
    • For when I've completely stripped the bodyshell, does anyone have a Jig/Rotisserie device for being able to media blast underside that I could acquire or tips/plans for making one. I'm competent with a welder.
  • Not tried starting car yet - would like to prior to stripping it down - any tips with the fuel injection - I've never dabbled before in this 'modern' type of fuel delivery ! Engine was running a couple of years ago.

Looking forward to my new project and the learning/new knowledge it will bring.
