Default Which MP3 player to choose?

Hi All

I've got a 2011 XC90, and the iPod Classic which is plugged into the USB AUX input has died. :-(

Looking for a replacement now, the old iPods are going for quite a lot of cash, and the manual just says "The AUX input can be used for connecting an iPod or an MP3 player.", it doesn't give any more details.

Does anyone know which non-iPod MP3 players work with the AUX input?

Cheers
Steve

MP3 is a universal format, so anything playing that format should be fine with the appropriate connector.

You could connect the headphone output of a cassette recorder to the aux input via audio to USB adapter if you want to: the format of the music is irrelevant . However, if all your music is in iTunes than you may find it easier to stick with Apple products

Try contacting Apple - there was a recall for some older iPods and I got a free upgrade when I sent my old one away

Cheers
